Community Health Day at the Mission Clinic

The mission health post opened its doors for a free community health day, offered to everyone in the district without distinction of religion.

Over four hundred people were seen. Screening for hypertension and diabetes, antenatal checks, vaccination catch-up and a malaria prevention session for mothers were all provided by local staff, with two visiting doctors.

We are grateful to the district health office and to the volunteers who gave their Saturday.
